In my staff blog, I announced that the date of the launch announcement will be before the 13th of January, not that the actual release will be before then.

We didn't want to make promises we couldn't deliver for whatever reason. That would be too...uh...old CG.

Well just know that since this isnt the old cg, and core devs/db devs are actually putting in work on a consistent basis, the longer the better the server will be. Trust me you probably wouldnt want to play on a rushed server. In the meantime why not plan ahead, chat up in the irc.Was really hoping for a 16th/17th release :/
