Will these rewards for slower leveling rates be monetary in nature or what? I'd like some elaboration in this area now that you guys have thought more on exactly what it would entail.

Some players enjoy slower leveling rates, and that should be a sufficient incentive for them to do so. However, players will be awarded credits that they can then spend on cool, fun items at our events mall. These credits will be automatically dispensed as you level up, based on your current level and average overall leveling rate, increasing exponentially with higher levels and lower average leveling rates. At 1X, you can expect to have just over 1000 credits once you reach level 80 - a sizable amount. At 15X, you can expect to get around 130. At average leveling rates >15X (due to a partial boost, etc) you will not get any credits.

Okay thanks, didn't want to miss out on anything spectacular should I choose to start at 60 and high rate as opposed too 1 and 1x.

Although we do like giving an extra reward for the effort it takes to level at low rates, we do not want to interfere the Blizzlike aspect of leveling at 1x.
In the end it is your choice what you like to do. If you dislike leveling, you can skip it or do it very quickly. If you want to progress through the lore at the intended pace, you're free to do that too. It's all up to you
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

One question. Will it be crossfaction raids and dungeons?

Very likely yes, at least until the population picks up.

So excited, you guys should definitely have a leaderboard for top guild of each faction. Have ranks be based off of achievement points for the guild which build off of boss downs, progression, etc.

you'd have to have working achievements for that
but then that'd just mean the guild with the most people will have the highest rank

Not necessarily have only raid progression count for the points instead of achievements earned.
